EARLY YEARS WORKER

36 hour per week

Grade E £19,446 to £21,693 per annum
Fixed Term 12 Month Contract until August 2019

Located at St Peters Children’s Centre, Trafalgar Square, Ashton under Lyne, OL7 0LL

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Early Years Worker.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high quality interventions to children (0-5 yrs) and their families across Tameside.

You will be expected to hold an appropriate childcare qualification to at least Level 3 or equivalent, have a good safeguarding knowledge and an excellent knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
Within this role you will need to work both individually and within a multi-agency team.

It is expected that you plan, deliver and evaluate a range of high quality play, learning and early years interventions/ activities, ensuring quality experiences for families with children aged 0-5 that incorporates the EYFS

As part of the Early Years offer in Tameside you will be expected to deliver in line with the EY AGMA delivery model such as communication, parenting, physical pathways and post-natal groups.
