Trafford Council is recruiting for a Consultant in Public Health. The applicant will be on the Faculty of Public Health Specialist Register or the UKPHR. You will be a core member of the team and will lead on our Live Well topics such as alcohol, smoking, social prescribing and poverty, We are a small and very busy team so you will have ample opportunities to work across the full range of Public Health key areas, working in partnership with colleagues in the Council, the CCG and more widely. We are a training department, and would expect any successful candidate to be keen to be an educational supervisor.

We are in the process of integrating Public Health and Commissioning with the CCG, and will be co-located from the end of March. We also have developing Local Care Alliance, which includes strong public health elements. This is a great opportunity to take on a high profile and valued role within the Council.
