Salary: Grade H – SCP33 £29,909 - SCP39 £35,229
(Inclusive of a temporary market supplement of two spinal column points)

Adoption Now Regional Adoption Agency is a partnership with Bolton, Tameside, Rochdale, Oldham, Bury and Blackburn Council

An opportunity has arisen for you to join Adoption Now, a busy, committed and experienced adoption service. We are keen to have an energetic and motivated social worker to join us as we take on the challenge of new developments within our newly formed Regional Adoption agency.

You will be responsible for the tracking of children within care proceedings and preparation of Child Permanence reports, you will hold a case load of looked after children for whom the care plan is one of Adoption you will be responsible for family finding and placement of those children and the support of that placement through to adoption . You will be experienced in assessment and have experience and knowledge of permanence planning and family placement.

The role will be based in the Tameside Spoke but you will be part of the newly established regional adoption agency (Adoption NoW) based in Bolton. You will be an employee of Tameside MBC and you will be seconded to Bolton MBC .

You will have the opportunity to be part of the exciting collaborative developments in adoption services in the region, including training opportunities to develop your skills
