Salary: Grade K SCP44 £46,634 – SCP47 £50,417

Location: Denton Centre, Acre St, Denton, Manchester M34 2BW

The provision of Children’s Services is a key priority for the Council and following the most recent Ofsted Inspection in September 2016 a focused improvement plan has been developed to raise the quality and standards within the service to secure better services for children and young people in Tameside.

To achieve our ambitious improvement plans we need suitable experienced professionals with drive, integrity and ambition.

Tameside Children’s Services is on an improvement journey and has great ambitions for the services that support its most vulnerable children, and families in providing care and protection.

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic permanent Service Manager to join us in our leadership team, offering strategic support whilst taking overall day to day operational managerial oversight in the Fostering & Adoption Service
