An opportunity has arisen for a number suitable candidate’s to join Access Trafford’s busy Customer Service Team working within Trafford Libraries. This is an ideal chance for you to experience work within Trafford Council.
The post available is 18.125 hours per week (Monday – Saturday). This role is based in our Urmston Area working regularly across a number of libraries in Trafford. However flexibility will be required to work anywhere in the Trafford Borough.
This busy department provides a front line service which includes a busy library service and face to face customer enquiries for Council Services including - Council Tax, Benefits, Planning, Waste Management and Parking Services and will also include working on a busy reception desk.
About You
Candidates will need to have an enthusiastic, motivated approach to work and desire to work with customers. We are looking for team players that are able to work under pressure, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills plus a positive attitude to customers. You will need to be numerate, literate, punctual and pro-active.
In return you will be joining a highly motivated, pro-active team where the delivery of Customer Service Excellence is essential. There is a high emphasis placed on personal development and this is re-enforced by structured training plans. This is a challenging and rewarding position for candidates who meet the essential criteria.
