INFORMATION SYSTEMS OFFICER

Salary: £28,785 - £30,507 per annum

Development Directorate. The Environmental Health Department is looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual to manage and develop our computerised information systems.

You will manage our Civica APP database, facilitate training of users and utilise the system to prepare performance management reports and complete statutory returns. You will be responsible for implementing system upgrades and expanding and developing the use of APP and other ICT systems.

In conjunction with the Department’s management team, and working with the Council’s ICT Service, you will be responsible for a focussed work programme which will identify, develop and implement ICT based projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Council’s Environmental Health Services.

You will need to be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Good time management skills are essential in order to work to deadlines and you will need to be able to communicate effectively with a range of staff with differing levels of ICT knowledge and ability.

In addition, occasional out of hours working may be required in order to facilitate the ongoing management and development of information systems and databases.
