The Public Protection Team at Tameside Council is seeking to appoint an experienced SIA registered CCTV operator.

The post holder will be required to work a 7 day variable shift pattern, operating the council’s network of 100 public facing camera and liaising with the emergency services and other partner agencies as necessary. This role requires good communication skills as the CCTV control room works closely with Greater Manchester Police as well as local shops and businesses.

This post is subject to full enhanced disclosure checks due to the nature of our work with Greater Manchester Police.

This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English
