It’s an exciting time to be a youth worker in Trafford. We are developing the Street Talk team to engage with young people on the streets and in local community centres, offering them support, activities and informal education to build on their strengths, overcome challenges and fulfil their potential. We are also expanding our offer for young people who go missing from home and who are at risk of being drawn into knife crime.

We are looking to recruit a number of Young People’s Workers with excellent engagement skills and qualified to Level 3 (or higher) in youth work or a relevant equivalent qualification. We are looking for youth workers who can confidently respond to challenging behaviour and act on safeguarding concerns. Please see the person specifications for a full description of the experience, knowledge and skills we are looking for. We have permanent and fixed term contacts available.
