Salary: Grade: I – SCP38 £33,437 to SCP41 £36,379

Located at: Two Trees Offices, Two Trees Lane, Denton, M34 7QL

NAFN is one of the UK’s largest shared services providing data, intelligence and best practice to support verification, debt recovery, criminal and fraud investigations to the public sector, including local authorities, housing providers and other government agencies. It has a customer base of 420 member organisations with over 10,000 active users.

Established in 1997, the organisation has grown and developed its service offer to members. We have established key working relationships and meet regularly with the Home Office, DVLA and Local Government Association as well as other national and regional bodies. We are seeking to further enhance and improve our business links with service providers and business users.

We are passionate about what we are doing, which is why we are delighted to say we are now recruiting for the role of Business Development Manager. You will be joining a small and friendly team based in Tameside and our commitment to protect the public purse means no two days are ever the same.

As a member of the Leadership Team you will contribute towards the achievement of strategic and operational targets. You will lead on the development and successful delivery of strategies for marketing, communication, membership and training. This exciting role requires a self-motivated, energetic and personable individual equipped with the necessary skills to develop and deliver an excellent service to members. Your impressive verbal and written communication skills will be complimented by your clear leadership ability, and you will be confident in building and maintaining relationships with people at all levels.
