TEACHING ASSISTANT 2 - Fixed Term contract from 28 October 2019 - 24 July 2020
Band 3 (Scp 6-11) - £19,171 per annum pro rata – Actual salary - £13,699 pa
30.25 hours per week, 8.45am - 3.30pm (1/2 hour lunch)

The Governors of Woodheys Primary School are seeking to appoint a Level 2 teaching assistant to work with a SEND child in a one to one capacity. We aim to appoint a positive, passionate and experienced teaching assistant with a desire to offer all children a caring, personalised, safe and stimulating learning experience.

The successful candidate will:
• Have a high expectation for children’s learning and behaviour;
• Have the ability to motivate and support children through good practice;
• Show initiative when supporting different learning styles and needs;
• Be flexible and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience of working with children with Down Syndrome desirable but not essential
