 We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support Team.


The Governors of St Paul’s CE Primary are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and highly motivated, Higher Level Teaching Assistant. St Paul’s is proud to be part of CDAT, Chester Diocese Academies Trust.

The successful candidate will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development.

They will be responsible for the management and development of a specialist area within the school and/or management of other teaching assistants including allocation and monitoring of work, appraisal and training.

St Paul’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. To ensure this, successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
