At Trafford we are continuing to expand our successful EPS, which combines a Local Authority service with a traded offer to schools and other agencies. We are looking to recruit to 0.6 permanent post to meet the increasing demand for the diverse work we do in schools as well other commissioned work within multi-agency teams.

The successful candidates will be eager to continue to develop new and innovative practices to support the children, young people, and families of Trafford. Initiatives already running include;
 opportunities for EPs to work collaboratively with schools engaging in action research projects to support the development of good practice;
 opportunities to deliver and develop bespoke training packages as well as support a calendar of school CPD events;
 opportunities to deliver therapeutic based interventions to schools and our partner agencies;
 opportunities to work at both a strategic/systemic level and operational level to support children who are being assessed for ASC and ADHD.

We will provide you with:
1 An opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the Educational Psychology Service including a successful Traded Service, which is in demand and highly regarded from settings, schools and partner agencies.
2 An EPS committed to developing a consultative approach based on sound psychological principles.
3 The chance to use your ability to apply psychology in a proactive and positive way to make a real difference to the children, young people and families.
4 The possibility to offer or develop a specialism in your chosen field alongside your generic role.
