This is an exciting time to join our school where children are at the heart of everything we do. Moss Park Infant School is a dynamic and driven school and we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Early Years Leader to join our team. The successful applicant will be a senior member of the Leadership Team and will assist the Headteacher in driving forward the strategic aims of the school.
Our new Early Years Lead will be responsible for leading all aspects of the EYFS. The successful applicant will need to have had experience of teaching in the Infant or Primary Phase and they should be able to provide a model of excellent teaching. They should also be someone who can demonstrate high levels of commitment to pupil achievement and the development of the whole child. We need a strong team player, with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, who is able to support, lead and inspire colleagues and children alike.
Our new Early Years Lead will:
• Have at least 3 years outstanding teaching experience in EYFS
• Lead on the development of truly outstanding EYFS teaching and learning pedagogy
• Possess a deep and thorough knowledge and understanding of EYFS
• Be able to lead innovation and change, positively and effectively
• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner and lead other colleagues to develop their practice too
• Have excellent leadership, management and organisational skills and be an effective team player
• Have high expectations and a desire to ensure that all pupils and staff achieve their fullest potential
• Work in partnership at all times with the Headteacher and embrace the schools values and visions

Short listed candidates will be required to attend half a day to teach and carry out a task. If successful, will be invited back for half a day interview and presentation.
Closing date: Thursday 31st January 2019
Short listing: Friday 1st February 2019 – Candidates will be notified before 5pm on this day if they have been short listed.
Observations will take place at Moss Park Infant School. Either Wednesday 6th or Thursday 7th February. This will be either a full morning or afternoon.
Successful candidates from this stage will then be invited to an interview / presentation on Friday 8th February, either for the full morning or afternoon.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. The Headteacher will be available:
Wednesday 23rd January 5.30pm or Monday 28th January 9.45am
