POST 1 - TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 – KS2 - Required for January 2020
Band 3, Point 6 - £19,171 per annum pro rata (actual salary £16,416)
Fixed Term Contract (linked to SEN funding for 2 pupils) – if provision is no longer required/the children leave the school, the post will not be continued.
Term time only plus 5 Inset days until August 2020 to cover Maternity Leave
36.25 hours per week

POST 2 – TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 – KS2 - Required Immediate Start / As soon as possible
Band 3, Point 6 - £19,171 per annum pro rata (actual salary £6,793)
Fixed Term Contract (linked to SEN funding for 1 pupil) – if provision is no longer required/the child leaves the school, the post will not be continued.
Term time only plus 5 Inset days until August 2020
15 hours per week

The successful candidate will have an understanding of or experience of:
· attention and concentration difficulties/ADHD
· attachment difficulties and working with looked after pupils/adopted pupils
· social communication and interaction needs and strategies to support these needs - visual timetables and time plans, visual prompts and resources, workstations, limited choices, target boards
· dyslexia and moderate learning difficulties
· building self-esteem and independence skills
· highly differentiating and adapting learning tasks to meet individual needs
· delivering personalised interventions to support core literacy and maths skills
· working as a team
· liaising with parents/carers
· working with other professionals
· contributing to planning, monitoring and evaluating pupil outcomes and targets
