Salary: Grade H. Scale 29 - £32,029 to Scale 31 - £33,799

36 hours per week

Located at Tameside Housing Options, Old Street, Ashton under Lyne

Responsible for the development and delivery of a broad range of projects and strategies across Community Safety and Homelessness in partnership with a wide range of statutory and non-statutory partners, both internal and external across Tameside and Greater Manchester.

Undertake reviews, chair partnership forums, write reports and policy documentation for the consideration of senior managers, completion of statutory returns and monitoring and development of campaign plans for Community Safety with policy / strategy links.

Tameside Community Safety and Homelessness Team:

• Help create communities that are healthy, prosperous, safe, attractive and inspirational.

• Help support the Council’s approach to partnership working, with a particular emphasis on working with internal and external partners to reduce crime, promote reassurance and build stronger communities.

• Support the development of the Armed Forces Covenant in Tameside.

We are a busy and friendly service, operating across Tameside, and we are looking for an inspirational manager.
