Fixed Term Contract For To Cover Maternity Leave

Full Time Teaching Hours
5 Days A Week

Salary: MPS 1 £22,917- UPS3 £33,824
Plus SEN 1 allowance - £2,106

We are looking to recruit an inspirational and well organised teacher to join us to cover a maternity leave. The post would suit a primary or EYFS teacher. The successful candidate will be fully committed to helping the school meet the learning and care needs of our pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties, Autism and other disabilities.

The post offers the opportunity to join our ‘outstanding’ special school, supported by a hugely talented staff team. We also offer the opportunity to teach across KS3 and KS4, within different groups and across different subjects of the curriculum.

The successful candidate will be:
• An effective team leader within the classroom, presenting a welcoming, highly professional image.
• Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly- including in written form.
• Flexible and dependable in supporting the school to meet pupils’ learning needs.

The protection and safeguarding of our pupils is paramount and the post is subject to a successful enhanced DBS check.
