PARTNERSHIPS AND FUNDING OFFICER

35 HOURS PER WEEK, MONDAY – FRIDAY 9-5

£35,000 - £39,000 DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE

SOME TRAVEL WILL BE REQUIRED

Peel Land and Property Group own and manage 1.2 million m² of property and 15,000 hectares of land and water. Our holdings are concentrated in North West England, but we also own and manage significant assets in the Clyde, Yorkshire and the Medway in Kent, with a total portfolio value of £2.3 billion.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Peel Partnerships Team, based at The Trafford Centre. As Partnerships and Funding Officer, you will work closely with the Partnerships Manager on projects across a diverse portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in working on projects that involve public sector partnerships and funding. You will need to be a self-starter and results driven.

THE ROLE:

• Researching and coordinating bids to funders

• Contract management, monitoring projects and working with partners to ensure the best results for the wider community;

• Working with Local authorities, universities and public sector organisations, such as Homes England, to collaboratively deliver economic development and regeneration aims

• Working on projects that require grant funding agreements, state aid advice and coordinating deed of variations and associated legal contract work

• Keeping up to date with relevant policies, funding and identifying new opportunities

ABOUT YOU:

• Communication- you must be able to communicate complex information to a range of diverse audiences and be able to develop relationships with key personnel internally and externally

• Education- You must be degree educated or equivalent or have substantial relevant experience that demonstrates a high order of literacy, numeracy and analytical skills

• Candidates with public/third sector experience, particularly in grant funding, will have a distinct advantage.
