SENIOR ICT SUPPORT OFFICER

Grade G £26,470 to £29,055

36 Hours per week, fixed term contract for 12 months to cover a specific project

Located at Tameside Council Offices, Margaret Street, Ashton-under-Lyne

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and organised individual who has excellent communication skills.

The purpose of the role is to create significant momentum in relation to the Paperless Policy, which has the aim of minimising the amount of paper that is processed and stored in the organisation, as well as the more efficient management, control and storage of electronic files.
The key activities will be to:
• Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and interpret them in order to advise on appropriate document management solutions.
• Devise a programme of work for each customer and co-ordinate the implementation of the document management solutions across the organisation.
