Salary Grade: SCP11 £21,166 – SCP16 £23,369
Working Pattern: Flexible Rotas between 07:00 and 22:30, with the option of night shift when required
Working Hours: 36hrs per week

An opportunity has arisen to join the Community Response Service within Adult Services as a Community Response Worker. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who can prioritise and can react calmly to emergency situations, to work within this team.
The Community Response Service provides a 24 hour, 365 days per year emergency response service to vulnerable people living within the borough of Tameside. The service responds to a variety of emergency situations and liaises with a wide range of other agencies as dictated by individual circumstances, including Emergency Planning the Council’s first response to incidents and emergencies and in cases supplying and monitoring numerous Telehealthcare devices.
You will work as part of a team within the Community Response Service under the direction of the supervisor, to provide a 24-hour, 365-day response service by being responsible for responding to emergency calls.
You will complete an induction and be offered the relevant training and support to develop techniques and skills to respond to vulnerable service users.
