This is an exciting time to join our school where children are at the heart of everything we do. Moss Park Infant School is a dynamic and driven school and we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, Key Stage One Lead to join our team. The successful applicant will be a senior member of the Leadership Team and will assist the Headteacher in driving forward the strategic aims of the school.

Our new key stage one lead will be responsible for leading this phase across the school, as well as leading English and Computing. The successful applicant will need to have had experience of teaching in the Infant or Primary Phase and they should be able to provide a model of excellent teaching. They should also be someone who can demonstrate high levels of commitment to pupil achievement and the development of the whole child. We need a strong team player, with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, who is able to support, lead and inspire colleagues and children alike.

Our new Key Stage One Lead will:

· Have at least 4 years outstanding teaching experience;
· Lead on the development of key stage one;
· Possess a deep and thorough knowledge and understanding of KS1;
· Be able to lead innovation and change, positively and effectively;
· Be an outstanding classroom practitioner and lead other colleagues to develop their practice too;
· Have excellent leadership, management and organisational skills and be an effective team player;
· Have high expectations and a desire to ensure that all pupils and staff achieve their fullest potential;
· Be a designated safeguarding lead;
· Teacher in KS1, preferably with year two experience;
· Have a thorough understanding of the KS1 moderation procedures and be willing to train as a moderator;
· Be a member of the schools senior leadership team;
· Lead English and Computing.
