We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated worker to coordinate and be responsible for the Early Help Assessment process within Tameside. The post holder will liaise with referring agencies, supporting them in the completion of high quality EHA’s and where necessary helping them to identify a clear action plan that is creative and innovative to ensure effective multi agency involvement in ensuring outcomes for families are maximised.

You will be expected to work in collaboratively and in partnership with other services, including schools, to effect real change for families and improve outcomes. You will be expected to take a lead role in the delivery of EHA training and to challenge and negotiate traditional organisational boundaries.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills enabling them to develop working partnerships with statutory and voluntary agencies, requiring the use of negotiating skills, an understanding of Social Policy, the ability to interpret legislation and regulations and comply with policies and procedures.
You will also need to be able to analyse data and report to your line manager

You must be able to work persistently to develop and maintain strong relationships with partner agencies and services.
A strong knowledge and experience of Early Help Assessment is needed.
