BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION APPRENTICE – OPERATIONS AND GREENSPACE

36 Hours per week
Fixed term training contract for 18 months

16– 17 year olds = £8,174.52 per annum
18 – 20 year olds = £11,557.08 per annum
21 plus = £14,469.84 per annum in the first year of your apprenticeship
25 and over = £15,428.23

Environmental Services is dedicated to providing high quality services to meet the needs of customers in relation to administration roles within the Operations and Greenspace Service within Environmental Services, providing development opportunities for the Apprentice across the service.

We are seeking to recruit a Apprentices on a 12 month training contract.

To meet this aim we are looking for a proactive, well-motivated individual that will be flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure to deadlines.

The successful candidate will receive on the job training and will complete a Level 3 Business Admin NVQ at Tameside College. Working alongside experienced staff you will build up knowledge and develop many transferable skills.

Please note this role is only open to applicants who are not studying for or hold an NVQ or any qualification at the equivalent level in the field applied for.

In the first instance should your application be successful you will be invited to take a series of tests which will enable us to assess your ability to complete an apprenticeship. These tests will be carried out by Tameside College and you will receive an email from the Council with further information regarding the test time/date. Please note that if you do not attend the testing date or if you attend and do not pass the testing stage your application will not proceed onto the next stage of the recruitment process.

This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English in the person specification.
