SOCIAL WORKER – COURT OF PROTECTION

36 Hours per week, Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to work as part of a small team for a period of 2 years, to establish the mental capacity of individuals living in the community who have an enduring disability, through a prescribed assessment process which identifies the appropriateness of the application to the court of protection in terms of risk, and best interest of the individual. This team will work through a large waiting list of individuals who predominantly have learning disabilities living within the community.

This requires the postholder to establish mental capacity of the individual through a prescribed assessment process which identifies the appropriateness of the application in terms of risk, and best interest.
