Senior Practitioner – Mental Health
Adult Services

We are looking to recruit an experienced senior practitioner to join our Adult functional mental health team. As an authorised Approved Mental Health Professional you will form part of a highly motivated team to deliver safe and effective mental health care with a focus on recovery and independence.
 
Our preferred candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the promotion of social work values within a multi-disciplinary setting. You will require good communication skills, have the ability to make positive and proactive decisions and will possess strong leadership skills. You will offer professional social work advice to colleagues-particularly with regards to the operation of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, and you will provide supervisory support to social work colleagues. The ability to chair meetings, facilitate clinical discussions and clearly represent a social work perspective is highly desirable.
 
Some weekend and bank holiday working will be required.
