Inbound Contact Centre Adviser Vacancies - Salary £18,849 (rising to £19,812 following training)

Imagine being able to help and provide support to those clients when things have gone wrong or when they have been treated unfairly as a consumer. This can include problems with: credit and store cards, faulty goods, counterfeit goods, poor service, contracts, builders, rogue traders etc. In the last year alone the Consumer Advice service helped consumers save £124 million pounds and supported 11,338 vulnerable energy clients with referrals to the Extra Help Unit!

We have fantastic opportunities to join our friendly and professional contact centre team. We are based in the heart of the City Centre (5 mins from Piccadilly) and offer a Monday to Friday working week with no unsociable shifts!

If you are friendly, reliable and eager to learn we’ll give you all the training and support you need for a great career! Working on our Tier One Advice Service (initially on the inbound Consumer Advice Helpline) you’ll be advising our clients on their consumer rights (no cold calling or sales required).

Before you start advising our clients, you’ll receive training in the role - We offer a supportive environment, where our people feel valued and enjoy plenty of opportunities for professional development within our Tier One Advice Service.

Applicants need to be comfortable working in a target driven environment and have a desire to help people. You might be just the person we’re looking for if you have:
● Experience delivering excellent customer service in a contact centre or customer service environment
● A professional manner with good communication skills and the ability to deal confidently and sensitively with members of the public over the phone
● A commitment to equality for all
