Behaviour Manager
We seek an outstanding Behaviour Manager to contribute to a whole academy support system to respond to concerns and emergencies that may place pupils at risk or prevent them from fully engaging in their learning and making progress.
The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in ensuring support packages have a clear focus on learning, progress and the development of skills and competencies and engagement, in agreement with the senior team and Behaviour for Learning Lead.
You will have experience of:
• Working with young people in an education setting;
• Investigating reported incidents with effective recording, follow up and communication;
• Identifying trends and patterns in pupil behaviours and creating appropriate interventions; and
• Maintaining positive relationships with students and other adults.

Highfield Leadership Academy in Blackpool, Lancashire is a 1200 place, 11-16 secondary school and is part of Star Academies. We joined Star on 1 April 2016 and like all Star schools, “Leadership” is our specialism.
As a designated Leadership Academy, we are keen to ensure our pupils are offered encouragement and a wealth of opportunities to develop their natural skills, abilities and potential. We actively provide learning opportunities to teach performance leadership skills through project-based learning and community work.
