This role presents an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of developing and embedding
• an effective, single intelligent commissioning function for education, health and social care in Trafford
• a whole system redesign to inform commissioning for the future both within Trafford and with colleagues in Greater Manchester.

Trafford has a well-established integrated commissioning team which spans children, adults, clinical commissioning for children and public health. Managing a small team of specialist commissioners you will ensure all commissioned services, both internal and external, are delivering value for money high quality services which achieve agreed outcomes. This will include oversight of key aspects of the Trafford 2031 vision, the health and social care system and substantial commissioning budgets.

The Head of All Age Commissioning post is a pivotal role within the Senior Leadership Team of the Children Families & Wellbeing (CFW) Directorate and the successful candidate will work in partnership to help to secure good outcomes and best use of resources for our families and residents in Trafford.
