DEBT ADVISER
Fixed Term Contract for 2 years – Due to Specific Funding
36 hours per week
Salary: Grade G. Scale Point 29 - £26,470 to Scale Point 32 - £29,055
Tameside MBC has a well-established welfare rights and debt advice service. A vacancy has arisen for an experienced debt caseworker to join our debt team. You will be working in a team focused on preventing homelessness for clients in rent and mortgage arrears. You must have an ordered approach to casework with excellent inter-personal skills.
The post requires the ability to work under pressure assisting vulnerable customers to deal with urgent repossession and eviction proceedings including representation at County Court
