LIBRARIAN: READING INTERVENTIONS - Required for an immediate start
Band 5 (£24,799 to £26,317) pro rata (actual salary: £21,236)
Term time only plus 1 week (inset)

We are looking to appoint a Librarian, to lead the strategy for the development of an innovative library community which is :

· Integrated into the life of the whole school;
· responsive to the fast changing worlds of communications and information technology, and meets the needs of the young people of the 21st century.

The successful candidate will also be required to deliver literacy and reading support programmes to enable pupils to maximise progress with their reading.

If you have a passion for reading, up to date knowledge of children’s literature, including non-fiction, excellent organisational and communication skills, and enjoy working with young people, then this role is for you.

Candidates must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8.15 am to 4.00 pm – term time, and some flexibility will be required.
