Salary: £17,419 to £17,772 per annum (SCP16 to 17)

Hyndburn is a great place to work.  Over recent years we’ve established an impressive reputation as a Council with a strong sense of direction and an enviable record for improving services and getting things done.

We are now recruiting to the role of Private Rented Team Administrative Officer, within Regeneration and Housing Services. We have 2 positions available; one is fixed term full time and one is permanent job share/part-time. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the Council’s Selective Licensing scheme.

You must be educated to GCSE standard (including Mathematics and English) and have experience of dealing with members of the public by telephone and face to face and ideally experience of dealing with landlords and tenants.

Excellent communication skills are important as there is often the need to explain complex legislation to customers and to deal effectively with the challenging individuals and situations that sometimes arise.

The ability to use a range of computer applications and ICT is essential to this role. If you are interested in either of these roles, we would love to hear from you. Please visit our website for more information, or to download an application pack.
