IT Infrastructure Technician Apprentice Level 3

Employer: Greater Manchester Pension Fund - Tameside MBC
Location: Guardsman Tony Downes House, Droylsden

Working Pattern: Full Time, but flexible arrangements may be possible
Working Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed term for 12 months

Rates of pay:
25 or over - £15,428.23 per annum
21 and over - £14,469.84 per annum
18-20 - £11,557.08 per annum
<18 - £8,174.52 per annum

The apprenticeship role
We are looking for someone with a keen interest in IT to join our team.

You will learn about the systems and IT products we use and how to help manage them. You will also provide support to users, helping them to resolve basic IT problems.

You will either need to have some basic IT skills already or be very keen to develop them. You will be expected to work towards achieving an IT apprenticeship- IT Infrastructure Technician level 3.

Please note that this role is only open to applicants who are not studying for or hold an NVQ or any equivalent qualification at the same level or higher in the field applied for.

If you do not have proof of qualifications you will be invited to complete the required English/ Maths tests if you pass then you will pass to the shortlisting stage and may then be invited for an interview if you meet the specified criteria.
