SERVICE UNIT MANAGER

36 Hours per week, Permanent

Salary: Grade K SCP 44 £46,634 to SCP 47 £50,417

Located at Greenside Early Years Centre, Greenside Lane, Droylsden, M43 7RA

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Service Manager, to join the Early Help, Early Years and Neighborhood services.

We are inviting applications for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our senior management team service as a Service Manager with a lead on Family Intervention Support Teams, Early Help Access point and Neighbourhoods.

You will need excellent communication and leadership skills and an ability to prioritise and delegate workloads effectively in an ever changing environment will be essential for this role.

You will need to be educated to degree level, and with significant work experience in a multi-agency or integrated working. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an ability to lead and manage staff in providing support and supervision in the delivery of evidence based interventions.

The role will include working with partners across the Borough, families with children and young people 0-19yrs, in developing a sustainable and accessible Early Help offer.
Within this role you will work closely with Health, Voluntary partners, Early Years Providers and schools in supporting children and working towards improving outcomes.

In addition the successful applicant will be a beacon of good practice and have the ability and knowledge to cascade key information to their teams and partners in order to develop skills and behaviour that safeguard and promote good outcomes for Tameside children.
