School Support Staff


Contract: Permanent

Grade: £19,312 - £19,698 (S3 SCP 5-6) per annum

Work Pattern: Full time (37 hours) / Full year

Hours: Early / Late Shift Rotation:

Early Shift: 06:30 to 14:30 & Late Shift: 11:00 to 19:00 (Monday to Thursday)

Early Shift: 06:30 to 14:30 & Late Shift: 09:15 to 16:45 (Friday)


This is a 52 week contract with the expectation that holidays are to be taken in the school holiday period. School holiday period working week will be flexible to the needs of the school.


Start Date: ASAP


Our Site Supervisor will:
•Be committed to the welfare and safety of staff, children, parents and visitors at all times
•Be able to offer a range of DIY skills to the school
•Have the ability and knowledge to liaise with external contractors and agencies linked to the school building
•Be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness of designated areas in the building, and duties will include toilets and associated facilities, against an agreed cleaning specification and good attention to detail.
•Have the ability to work to tight timescales is essential and a flexible approach
•Be able to work independently using initiative and as part of a team
•Be able to communicate clearly with and relate positively to all members of staff
•Have knowledge of Health & Safety at work
•Have the ability to recognize the importance of ensuring a secure and safe environment
