Hours: 30 hours per week
Grade/Salary: Grade C Scp5 £16,093 Scp6 £16,415

The role will be to provide administrative support to the service by carrying out key admin functions. The service provides impartial information, advice and support to children, young people and their parents, when the child/young person (0-25yrs) has Special Education Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).

As part of the role, you will be expected to:
• Have a background in administration, having developed a wide range of office skills.
• Demonstrate your ability to use Microsoft IT based packages and data collection.
• Have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be sensitive to the needs of many different children, young people and parents you will come into contact with.
• Work flexibly and prioritise your workloads.
• Develop your knowledge of services available to signpost effectively.
• Willingness to train in any appropriate IT systems.
• Work flexibly if required.

This role is funded by the Government to assist the service to deliver it’s National Standards and therefore is offered as a fixed term contract.

The role will sit within SENDIASS and be managed by the SENDIASS Service Manager. The service is currently based at Jubilee Gardens, Gardenfold way, Droylsden, M43 7XU.
