CLERICAL ASSISTANT

36 Hours per week

Salary Grade C: SCP5:£18,795 to SCP6:£19,171


The School Liaison team within the School Improvement and Partnerships Service has a vacancy for a clerical assistant. You will be a key member of the team.

A good level of IT competence is needed in order to work with our information systems: an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel is essential to this role.

You will be responsible for providing administrative support / assistance to all levels of staff within the In particular you will be responsible for updating information pages on our IT systems, maintaining spreadsheets and manipulating data however this is an interesting and varied role and there will be the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of tasks commensurate with the Grade for the post.

You must be proactive and be able to show initiative and have the ability to work as part of a team. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and service users with a focus on accuracy, and excellent customer service. In addition, you will be expected to participate in the development and continual improvement of this part of the service.
