ARMED FORCES OFFICER (COMMUNITY SAFETY)

Fixed Term Contract due to funding
Part Time - 18 Hours per week

Salary: Grade E. Scale Point 19 - £9,722 to Scale Point 23 - £10,846

Location: Denton Town Hall. Market Street, Denton, Manchester, M34 2AP.

Tameside MBC have a well-established Armed Forces Covenant Team. An opportunity has arisen for a part time Officer to support ex-services personnel in the Borough.

We are looking for someone who can provide project management and support to TASC and our other Armed Forces Covenant projects and partners. You will also advocate for the Armed Forces Covenant and ensure it is kept as a high level priority.

To carry out this role you will have knowledge and understanding of life in the Armed Forces and a high standard of interpersonal skills.

This role is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English in the person specification.

Some weekend and evening work is required for which Time Off In Lieu would be given.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
