Advancement beyond bar at SCP 36 is subject to review / qualifications

This is an exciting time to join an expanding and outstanding adoption & fostering service, within the partnership between two established Voluntary Adoption Agencies, Caritas Care and Adoption Matters. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic social work practitioner in our innovative Concurrent Planning service.

The post holder will carry out work as required, to enable the agencies to provide a comprehensive fostering and adoption service.

The role available within our Concurrent Planning team will cover a range of services, including:
• Recruitment of prospective Concurrent Planning carers;
• Assessment, training and support of prospective and approved Concurrent Planning carers;
• Supervision of carers during the fostering phase;
• Establishment of positive networks and working relationships with the local authorities across the region who use the service.
