SIMS Support Officer

£23,935 to £27,394

Based in Manchester

Permanent, Full time, 35 hours per week (Term Time also available)

 

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, highly motivated and experienced user of SIMS to support schools on a busy Helpdesk in the Manchester area.

Ideally the candidate should have experience of working in a School environment or providing Schools with support and training as part of a SIMS Support team.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and problem solving skills and the ability to deliver high quality support to our customers across a range of SIMS modules via our Helpdesk as well as delivering training and consultancy services at our base in Manchester and on site in schools.

It is expected that applicants would have experience and understanding in at least four of the following areas:

·         SIMS Discover

·         SIMS Dinner Money

·         SIMS Assessment and analysis

·         SIMS Examination Organiser

·         SIMS Upgrades and Patches

·         SIMS Attendance

·         SIMS Attendance Reporting

·         SIMS Advanced Reporting

 

Experience of dealing with the School Census, School Workforce Census, Pupil Premium and End of Year procedures and would be an advantage.
