Manor Academy are looking to appoint a Level 3 PE Specialist Teaching Assistant to join an innovative and nationally recognised PE department. This post will suit someone who is forward thinking, dedicated and passionate in delivering high quality PE and School Sport to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Previous experience in working with ASD / SEN pupils is desireable.

Applicants will be expected to have good Numeracy and Literacy skills, spoken and written, be able to contribute to the marking of pupils work and the planning of specific learning programmes. Additional duties will include preparing materials and resources, and giving support to both staff and pupils as directed.

You must have a caring, positive and flexible attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team, the ability to use your own initiative and to work without supervision. Applicants must also have the ability to work flexible hours as appropriate. Applicants should also be willing to engage in a successful Duke of Edinburgh program and offer support during over night residentials.
