TEMPORARY TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2

Grade D Points 7 – 10
£12,634 - £13,407
Monday – Friday term time only 38.8 weeks
Required: As Soon as Possible

The Governors wish to appoint two enthusiastic, highly skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistants on a temporary basis to cover on a 1:1 basis. One post is for 27.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday and one post is for 17.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday – mornings only 8.30am to 12.00pm

The successful applicants will be an effective team member, have lots of energy, enthusiasm and be flexible within their working day. Working in our Early Years setting.

We require a practitioner who:
• Believes that all children deserve the best and sets high expectations for teaching, learning and behaviour
• Understands the needs faced by children of different backgrounds and abilities
• Sees the value of team and partnership working
• Assists with the development and implementation of CCPs
• Provides support through a variety of interventions – has experience of delivering Speech and Language, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and Social Groups
• Provides objective and accurate feedback and reports as required, to the teacher on pupil achievement, progress and other matters, ensuring the availability of appropriate evidence
• Is able to work under own initiative
