Due to the internal promotion of the current postholder into a newly created Manager role in the team, we now have a great opportunity for you to be part of the HR team in Trafford.

About You

We are looking for an exceptional HR professional to undertake the role of HR Consultant for HR Policy and Workforce Intelligence. You will be a strategic subject matter expert for all HR policy and take a lead role in the development of compliant HR policies working closely with our HR Business Partners, Trade Unions and Equality groups and other key stakeholders.

You will also have a lead role in driving workforce intelligence to inform our People Strategy, so we can focus on the work of the HR service that will have the biggest impact on our priorities.

You will have:

• A Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management (or level 7 equivalent) and extensive relevant experience in the HR and/or OD field.
• A solution focussed approach and ability to use innovative and creative skills to resolve problems not dealt with before.
• The ability to produce written reports, policy documents and papers to a high standard, often on complex subject matter.
