The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Catering Manager, who can inspire to lead the catering team at Rack House Primary School. This position is Full Time, Term Time Only: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 2.30 p.m.

Job details

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Proven experience and skills in mass catering provision.
  • A passion for food and customer service.
  • The skills to plan and produce termly menus taking into account, legislative requirements and the needs of the children and staff at school.
  • The ability to produce meals within a set budget.
  • Excellent people skills and a large dose of tact and diplomacy.
  • The ability to work under pressure whilst retaining a sense of humour.
  • An NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation & Cooking or equivalent.
  • A food Hygiene Certificate.

The Governors and Headteacher of Rack House Primary School are looking to appoint a motivated, dedicated catering manager to work in our outstanding school.
