An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Home and Community support team in the provision of high quality care in the community promoting and maximising a person’s level of independent living.

We are looking for casual reablement support workers to work on our In-House service who will be required to work in a practical and positive way to enable service users to regain confidence and to motivate them in regaining daily living skills. Rota pattern for the posts are between the hours of 07.00 – 22.00 working on a rota pattern over seven days a week, which includes some weekend and bank Holiday working.

We are looking to recruit casual staff on a fixed term contract (March 2021) to work flexibly within the service to cover sickness, holidays and be available during times of increased capacity within the service.

If necessary you will be offered the relevant training and support to develop techniques and practice in “Promoting Independence”.

You must be a car user for which a casual car allowance will be paid and be willing to work across the whole of Tameside.

This post requires an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
