Your role

Chorley Council has an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified and experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our Public Protection Team. The role is full time and permanent 36.25 hours per week.

We require an officer who is able to demonstrate their enthusiasm and adaptability for working across a range of environmental health functions, predominantly; food safety, housing standards, environmental protection, infectious diseases & health and safety and also supporting where required enforcing Covid-19 legislation.

Chorley Council has a strong regulatory services team and is committed to ensuring that we deliver our services effectively and efficiently.

About you

The applicant will require a level 6 degree in Environmental Health and the certificate of Registration Board and have sound knowledge and experience of working within regulatory services.
