MANAGER - STAR CLUB DEPUTY MANAGER
Band 4 Scale 22-25 £21,589 - £23,836 pro rata
24 hours per week all year round – shifts to be confirmed

Springfield Primary School is a successful three form entry school with 52 part time nursery places. The Headteacher & School Governors are seeking a highly committed experienced Deputy Manager with strong leadership skills for the day to day management of the before & after school provision – STAR club – for pupils aged 3-11 years.

The successful candidate will need to:
· Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the club: working with children and their parents, as well as the local community, to meet Ofsted requirements, following policies and procedures, admin duties, working to safeguard children and manage club playworkers
· Be able to inspire and motivate children to achieve their potential and be passionate about creating the best possible learning opportunities for children
· Be able to communicate effectively with children, their parents and the wider school community
· Be an experienced team leader with a friendly yet professional approach
· Be a reliable, well organised administrator who is accountable & takes responsibility
· Prioritise safeguarding, having an excellent understanding of current legislation and its responsibilities
· Be able to demonstrate sound knowledge & understanding in relation to EYFS curriculum, Special Educational Needs & Disabilities and inclusive practice.
· Be committed to the development of self & others by sharing knowledge, encouraging new ideas and seeking new challenges & opportunities
