Occupational Therapy Assistant

36 Hours - Fixed Term to carry out a Specific Project

Salary: Grade F. Scale 17 - £23,836 to Scale 22 - £26,317

Located at Crickets Lane Clinic, Ashton Under Lyne

The successful applicants will join a team of Workers to support a project across Tameside which will seek to reduce the instances of multiple care staff. You will work with the supervision of the Senior practitioner and practitioners to review safe manual handling activities associated with the provision of care and support. You will work with the team to support clients, providers and carers in the use of techniques and equipment to improve the experience of those receiving support which enhances dignity, choice and control by reducing the need for a second carer.

The role will also require administration duties, which will include booking training liaising with product representatives and coordinating and organising professional meetings. This role requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who has ideally, but not essentially, undertaken recent moving and handling training.

This position requires an Enhanced DBS disclosure.

This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English in the person specification
