EARLY YEARS QUALITY OFFICER

36 Hours per Week – Permanent

Salary - Grade G: SCP23 £26,999 – SCP28 £31,371

Location: Mossley Children’s Centre

In Tameside, we are committed to giving every child the best possible start in life so that they can grow, develop and achieve positive outcomes. The quality of provision in all early years settings is key to achieving this and specifically in contributing to improving the number of children who are ready for school.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Quality Officer to take this work forward across the borough. The successful candidate will take a role in raising quality standards and attainment in Early Years education and childcare settings across Tameside by offering effective support and challenge to develop high quality practice across the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The successful candidate will be a beacon of good practice and knowledge to settings and practitioners in the skills and behaviours that safeguard and promote good outcomes for children and improve school readiness.

The role will include working with children’s centers, private, voluntary and independent settings, schools, childminders and out of school providers.
