The Population Health Directorate is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Population Health Team. This Programme Officer role will focus on the Starting Well Programme as well as other local priority areas of the Directorate.

The post holder will lead the development and delivery of a range of public health interventions and services for the population in Tameside. These will be delivered at a borough wide and neighbourhood level.

Successful applicants will have experience of:
• Delivering health and wellbeing projects across partner agencies, including the public, at a locality level.
• Co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
• Working across organisational boundaries and collaboratively with a number of interested parties engaged in the health and wellbeing agenda.
