Fixed Term Contract – Commencing January 2020

35 hours per week, Term Time Only (38.80 weeks)

Working Hours 8.30am – 4pm (30 mins lunch break)

The Governors of Milton St John’s CE Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible and reliable apprentice to join our team.

The successful candidate will be:-
• enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible and reliable
• a team player with sensitivity and a sense of humour
• able to relate and form positive relationships with primary age children
• experienced, patient and empathetic and be able to use their initiative when working with children
• be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school.
You will need to be willing to work across EYFS / KS1 / KS2 subject to the needs of the school.

Please note this role is only open to applicants who are not studying for or hold an NVQ or any equivalent qualification at the same level or higher in the field applied for.

In the first instance should your application be successful you will be invited to an interview if you are successful at this stage and are offered the position you will then be invited to take a series of tests which will enable us to assess your ability to complete an apprenticeship. These tests will be carried out by the training provider. You will receive an email/letter from them asking you to attend. Please note that if you do not attend a testing date or if you attend and do not pass the testing stage the offer of employment will be withdrawn.


Informal visits to the school are welcome. Please make arrangements via the school office should you wish to visit the school.
