GREENSPACE DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Full time, Permanent

Grade G: SCP 23 £26,999 – SCP 28 £31,371

The Greenspace team at Tameside Council looks after a wide range of urban parks and countryside sites throughout the Borough. We work closely with the community to deliver a wide range of regular maintenance tasks and one off projects. It is a varied role – one day project managing installation of new play equipment and the next working with volunteers carrying out woodland management in the countryside. You will need great communication skills and be able to confidently work with community groups, volunteers and elected Members. You will need knowledge of either grounds maintenance and/or countryside management.

You must be willing to work outdoors all year round, work some Sundays and have a full driving license.
